Pixel Harbors was founded in 2020 by a group of Sydney-based gamers who felt that Australian gaming deserved a dedicated, high-quality platform. Too often, local players had to rely on overseas publications that didn't understand the unique context of gaming in Australia — from server latency concerns to the growing local esports scene.
What started as a small blog has grown into one of Australia's most-read gaming publications, covering everything from indie titles developed in Melbourne to major international releases. Our editorial team spans all six states, giving us genuine insight into the gaming communities of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and beyond.
